Application for Part-Time Police Academy

The Branford Police Department announces an open recruitment seeking Entry Level Officers for the position of Supernumerary Officer (part-time) which can lead to a full time position. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written exam, drug screening, physical ability test, thorough background investigation, polygraph, psychological, oral interview and physical exam.  EOE/M/F. Full Time and Part Time Employment Opportunities

The Branford Police Department announces an open recruitment seeking POST Certified Officers and Entry Level people for the position of Police Officer. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written exam, drug screening, physical agility test, thorough background investigation, polygraph, psychological, oral interview and physical exam. A copy of current POST Certification must accompany application.  Salary $44,800-$58,000, overtime and educational incentives are available. EOE/M/F. Physical Agility Test
The physical agility test for both full time and part time applicants is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 7:30 am. The testing site will be the Branford High School, 185 East Main St, Branford, CT 06405.
