Neighborhood Watch

The Branford Police Department actively participates in Neighborhood Watch by acting as the coordinating agency for the Neighborhood Watch groups in the town.  At the present time there are 18 active watch areas.  The Branford Police Department actively seeks new Neighborhood Watch groups and will gladly assist anyone interested in starting a Watch group in their neighborhood. Crime Prevention Coalition of America

The Crime Prevention Coalition of America is a nonpartisan group of over 4,000 national, state, federal, and community-based organizations united to promote and work toward citizen action to prevent crime.

Originally consisting of 19 national organizations including the U.S. Department of Justice, AFL-CIO, the FBI, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the National Sheriffs' Association, the Coalition has expanded to include many more organizations from across the nation. The diversity of our member organizations' work and expertise is at the foundation of our strength. We invite your organization to join our Coalition and its endeavor to strengthen and promote crime prevention initiatives in our communities.
