School Resource Officer
Youth & School Services Youth and school services is staffed by a youth officer, a school resource officer and a crime prevention officer. This functional division is responsible for delivering liaison, support and enforcement services to Branford's school system and the community at large,
Crime Prevention The Branford Police Department actively participates in Neighborhood Watch by acting as the coordinating agency for the Neighborhood Watch groups in the town. The Crime Prevention Division also hosts Project KidCare, bicycle registrations, and business / home security surveys.
Special Response
Applicant Fingerprinting: The Branford Police Department offers applicant fingerprinting to the town's residents at no charge. Public fingerprinting hours are on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and Saturdays 8:30am to 10:30am.
